Port Grand Karachi - Asia's Largest Food Street

Asia's largest food and entertainment complex, Port Grand is opened in Karachi 28 May 2011 . Grand Leisure Corporation (GLC) is constructing the Karachi Port
Trust's mega project at the 13-acre scenic coastal stretch of Karachi Port ranging from Native Jetty Bridge to Jinnah Bridge roundabout.
The Port Grand would be a nautical-themed destination for good quality and hygienic food, landscaping, walkways, joy rides, marine and railway-related entertainment like dinner cruises, dining car and what not? The international brands like, the Noodle House, which have never been in Pakistan would be seen at the Port Grand.
Management of the well-known Food Street expects a huge crowd of 10,000 local and foreign visitors in a single day at the under construction resort, which is first of its kind in the country. The management has also decided to set entry fee of Rs. 300 per head for the entrance at the Port Grand, out of which the visitor would be allowed to redeem Rs 200 on any outlet. "This is to ensure that sober and decent people enter the resort because this is a place where we would like to welcome all families and professionals."
Parking for over eight hundred cars with complimentary valet service, and pristine public restrooms and Plenty of Pedestrian friendly walkways are additional attractions at the project. The few trees that existed on the site, have been preserved and replanted. The 150 years old Banyan tree has been treated with greet care making its home for an iconic tavern known as the Napier’s tavern that sits at the edge of the Napier Mole Bridge. GLC has installed a special irrigation system in the tree to give it an even longer life. Port Grand is also one of the first projects in the City that has been dedicated to building an open eco-friendly/ green environment, with special focus on urban regeneration. Port Grand is going to be a model for lot of good to be followed in the city.

So lets visit Port Grand and Enjoy your life.
